this blanket is a warm truth.
....that pun may not have been delivered correctly but you get the point.
The facepalm-y-ness of that pun aside, I still maintain that if gravity wasn't floatier than usual in tag for DOA5U, the fact that people can switch back and forth for combos will be moot as it wouldn't get anywhere near that kind of damage. I mean, a cool down system would work too I suppose, but the only reason the game lets you go back in forth that many times is the fact that the opponent is still being kept in the air.
Exactly, SK is a parody of games like DOA. westerners think Japanese people just fap to this game which is pretty ignorant. The japanese just have a different sense of humor and culture about sexuality.
Pffft. Japanese people think Japanese people just fap to that game. lol
The culture is different, yes. But, I'm fairly sure that people would assume that you would not be buying SR for the gameplay alone.
I suppose it does involve drawing and animation...
one last comment; Senran Kagura doesn't take its self serious often, but when it does, it's soooo good. It is written by real writers that know how to develop a story, that is why I have so much respect for the game.
From the few episodes of the anime that I forced myself to watch a while ago so I wouldn't just be passing judgment unjustly without actual evidence...we're going to have to disagree that the story is that great. The game may be different. I admit I've never played it (I don't have the equipment to do so). But, I really don't have a lot of faith in the "parody" factor given what the creator said about the game's 30 second concept creation of "boobs in 3D" and what I've seen of the anime just being par for the course in terms of ecchi shows. There didn't seem to be a lot of "lampshading" so to speak.
