This is what should really happen at Kokoro's story in 5.

I think the characters are going to be more consistent personality-wise in DOA6 after the new canon and it having the same guy as 5 (Hayashi). 5 changed a lot but Itagaki went out and Hayashi went in.

I wonder how Itagaki feels with DOA5U boasting so much success. o:

You may want to consider that, really, 4 ended the original canon. In fact, I believe Helena's ending in 4 implied that Ryu killed Donovan as he tried to escape the ninjas' attack on the DOATEC tri-towers. As such, you could reasonably continue from there with no real consideration for 5's events ever occurring.

People make fanfics/comics all of the time about DOA. Why would TN be upset if you did that?

itagaki was way better at characterization, story writing, atmosphere, etc. hayashi may make an arguably better fighter, but he sucks at making DOA (and ng) so far. thatvconsisten characterization you mentioned for six actually worries me, because the characterizations in 5 were fucking terrible. f
fully expecting them to pull a Bane with Leon and turn him into a standard dumb brute in six. I want this DOA comic to be what the Archie comics were to Sonic: preferable interpretations of the characters over the "official" versions, with expanded characterizations.

All I learned from these last few pages is that fighting games will always have shit stories. Even if the story mode of the fighter is good, the story is usually always shitty. Let's just stick to beating the crap out of scrubs and winning tournaments.

So, um...would anyone be against it if I actually attempted a DOA webcomic that focuses on the non Ninjas? though my sketches aside, this was my last attempt at a comic in PhotoShop, so I may need someone else to be artist.

Dude, I think I fell through time...

But otherwise no. Itagaki...didn't really do anything better with anything.
His characters was pretty damn flat with SOME exceptions(Ayane) but that was mainly due to not really building them up as such(As much as I like Kasumi...she has not really changed like Ayane has...at all) or they never really had the time to do so.

If anything, we've seen more feats from the fighters than anything about them who isn't ninjas.
