It was implied that the winner(s) would get a bunch of DOA swag: towels, badges, dakimakura pillow covers, 3D mouse pads etc.
Do you guys know, what is troubling me with this contest though? Can we be as free and expressive as we want to be with the designs, or should we keep in mind, that it has to translate good into a fighting game and with the graphical capabilities of the consoles? I can imagine people voting for the most fantastical stuff, that just couldn't be implemented in the game and my design, that is maybe a little more modest and realistic might be completely overlooked. Also, as it turns out, it would have been better to choose a female character, as they are way more popular. Like 80% of DOA players are male, I guess.

Marie is reigning with 6. Hitomi has 5. Helena has 4. Eliot, Ryu, Kasumi, Kokoro and Rig with 3. While the rest have 1-2 entries or none.
Surprising to see that there's a 2nd Sarah entry now. Hope Pai, Akira and Jacky gets something someday.

I wouldn't worry about technical limitations with DOA. Most fighting game characters today are about 20K polygons while some of DOA5's model are 3 times that

Well, definitely would a great idea to keep in mind always the gameplay (but also the opening or ending poses of the character chosen) in the design of the outfit. In the end it has to be functional and add that alsmost surely neither his author would like to see his outfit implemented in the game but continually clipping.
About the female characters, just because they are more popular it's also true that if everyone send a drawing for them and TN would wish to chose an outfit for the most various character possible, the lesser people sending a design for a male character could have more chances to win (proportionally). But of course until now no one know how many drawings will be selected and how the pool will work.
Sorry guys, I'll pass lolAnd @Project Bokuho , TN stated more times like what they care for is the deisgn and not the art: it's just this the reason because they limited the entry to 1 for person, just for allowing to everyone to express their ideas in fairness and not overcomed by the ones of the people able to draw pretty well (skill that surely would allow them to show better their ideas and to send more pictures). So, even if your drawing is not the best, if you have great ideas I think that they could be deserving of a try

I want to design something, that makes him look badass for once. XDI guess, the outfit might be a bit controversial though...(meaning, even some Eliot fans might not like it.)
they'll accept anything im pretty sure. though if it bothers you that much just wait till you get home

My car IS my home at the moment, which is the issue. I need to run to KINKOS to make copies of the sketches to try different coloring ideas with, at least. I really hope my tomboyish Mila outfit at least beats out that Tinaish mesh concept Tyaren showed. II doubt there will be much competition for Leon though.
Just do your best the due date isn't till the 17th of next month, you got time

I had another whatiphany about Leon. What If, the reason he's out of the main story of 4 and 5, is because Donovan got him, the strongest man in the world, after realizing that cloning kasumi over and over may not work out, and Leon will be the next mist supersoldier boss in DOA6? the costume fork had me draw would really work for that, complete with Senyaka style glowing eye in shadow.
