Team Ninja keeps disappointing me as a company first we had outrageous dlc prices, then they went the capcom route of re-releasing the same game with minor updates not once or twice but 3 times (admittedly the 3rd time did have a few new characters), now they have an arcade version with an upcoming 3rd kasumi character and marie rose both of which are arcade characters being added to the DOA5U that are likely going to be charged for despite an interview confirmation that they don't want paid dlc characters...team ninja why you disappoint?

As for the voice for Marie (what just because I am disappointed with them doesn't mean I'll completely ignore them) I actually don't mind it. It's tolerable. I can't however get the feeling that TN is basically just testing marie and this new kasumi out for DOA6. The fighting style for Marie intrigues me but I'm not completely sure if she's worth purchasing for 6 dollars....I would have paid 4 maybe even 5 but 6 is stretching the limit of what is acceptable for a dlc character in my mind. the dlc character and her costumes will probably be bundled together for 15-20 and that's ridiculous. I'm still undecided on this character so maybe I'll wait to see people's reactions to her first.

I completely expect them to release DOA6 version 1 of 4 at the end of next year or a final version of dead or alive 5 for next gen consoles. So a tad iffy on purchasing anything at the moment. Wish TN would actually lower some of their dlc prices or have them go on sale sometime in the future...but like that will ever happen.

Well, in my opinion a mimic character like Dural would be a great idea. If Team Ninja should decide to make of this new character a similar one, I would be more than glad to get it (the only shame would be a sort of definitive farewell to the return of Raidou in the series...)

After Tengu I would love to get Irene in the game, and when she will be included (because I'm pretty sure that or in DoA5U or in Doa6 this will happen) she should definitely to get back all her main outfits (the NG2, the DoA:D one and the NG3RE) + this red one like tribute to the classic Irene Lew.

But knowing TN, they will end to give her surely this other one XD:

I think that currently TN would decide to use for Irene her NG3RE design, that IMO is perfectly in line with her Dimensions' one, giving the idea of a character more "old" compared to the younger girls of the roster (and of course Western).

No they're all pretty much like that. Say something they don't like and they they will let you know.

6$ will buy you lunch it's not that big of a deal, for a character that will probably provide you with a 100+ hours of entertainment. provided your want to play as her.

Hmmmm, yeah I said this awhile back. I personally am not fussed that I have to pay for her, and I'll probably buy the DLC costume pack that comes out with her cause I really want to play as her. I do get why people are annoyed if they stated they would never charge for characters, but... they're a company. They need to make the monies. So, if making money means going back on their word... they will.

Oh, come on.... What should we Europeans say? You pay 5.99$, we pay 5.99€. They don't convert anything, just change the $ to €. So 8.23 $ it is for us...

Honestly 5,99$/€ for a character, even if a little overpriced, seems to me a price more reasonable compared in proportion with the 1,99$/€ for a single outfit.

So, let me understand this properly...

People getting divided on the ENG/JP voice of MR.
People still hating on reused Kasumi model on a hybrid-style character.

Personally, MR isn't sending me to the JP audio any time soon, and I'd like to see if Phase 4 plays like Raidou, but not dead.

Mila and Leon are the only content I care about. I'm trying to warm up to milas Japanese voice, because i prefer everyone else in Japanese so I would switch, but I just really like her English voice, a lot.

Marie Rose's English VA isn't so bad, I actually think it's cute. At least Team Ninja tried to make her sound like she's 18, unlike the Japanese VA where she sounds like a little ass girl. And I will be buying Marie Rose + costume bundle, because let's be honest, she's a BRAND NEW character and that takes a lot of time to develop. TT2 got away with giving away characters for free because many of them had similar styles to already existing characters. Marie Rose is completely new with a fresh new fighting style, so I'll gladly compensate Team Ninja for their effort. I'm still excited for her and I'm just as excited for Phase-4. If Team Ninja does introduce more characters, I'd hope they'd continue making BRAND NEW characters instead of going back to EXISTING characters.
