I'd say, if I had to guess, that DOA5/+/U/CF/A is bringing in a decent amount of money for them. This is good news for us b/c it means updates and more importantly, a higher chance of more new characters and stages. 
DOA5/5U has sold reasonably well, and even so, the Core Fighters version has been downloaded 1+ million times on PSN. CF definitely has helped DOA to get more attention and it's great to see the game at more majors, even if the attendance is kind of low. Still have to work on that.

Subbed but is up to you. Japanese voice actors have given always so much effort to their voice so it wouldnt be wasted to watch it on japanese with eng sub.
I originally watched it dubbed, then watched it subbed. It's not one where I feel like a ton of meaning is lost in the dub, but the VA quality is sometimes better in JP.
Just your personal preference.

Guys guys, I have two questions for you
- do you think TN is satisfied with DOA5's (and DOA5U's) sales ? did you expect more ?
- is DOA more popular/recognized than it was now than during DOA4's days ?
I like to think the answer is "yes" to both of those questions, but I have always been a little bitter that the 360 never got Core Fighters. I know MS charge devs a fee to host content on XBL, but I dont know how much.
Someone asked TN on twitter "I love this F2P! But why only ps3. The problem is microsoft huh?". All TN said in reply was "Thank you. Can't tell...RT".

Someone has not seen Gurren Lagann or Kill la Kill. There are more, but those two in particular reeeeeally want you to know about it. lol
But, speaking as an artist, barbie doll anatomy kind of creeps me out. I'm kind of angry it's so prevalent in Japanese media...
LOL. I've seen a few episodes of Gurren Lagann, and I'm currently two episodes behind in Kill la Kill. The glowing nipples in Kill la Kill kill me is2g.

Surprisingly well. I've seen both, and it's one of the better dubs out there. Not Gurren Lagann/Cowboy Bebop level, but it holds up well.
Or Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
