I think the reason we have seen who we have is because TN does consider them "balanced" and comfortable showing them off. They're probably a safe bet for GVN.
makes me wonder what exactly are they doing with all the other characters... i would assume they are being "fixed" but that could mean many thing lol. we may be seeing some MAJOR tweaks in characters like Lee and Genfu
No we won't. They're simply balancing. New moves, yes, but not sweeping changes. Getting balance right when new characters are thrown into the mix takes time.
That game is dumb for reasons beyond individual balance. And system tweaking is different than balance.
There's the possibility that not all characters will be revealed before the game releases. As of E3, I don't think Team Ninja considered any of the characters balanced. I also know that in pretty much every fighting game, character adjustments are being made until the last possible moment. If DOA5 has a day 1 patch, that could mean that character balancing is still going on during the time of GVN. And given how builds are created, even if the GVN build is the most current build and "near complete", it could still be a month old.

After reading that statement, I know no other characters who hasn't been announced that are more popular/asked about than Jann Lee and Helena.
I've been waiting for Leon .. lol but I guess he's gonna be a no show :/ I was really hoping to design an arcade stick with Leon on it and call it my "Rage stick" .. lol

Yeah maybe in one video they will reveal 4, for when they reveal tag. So maybe this month they reveal 2 characters, then 4 next month then two more during september.
Has it been confirmed he wont return forsure? I remember seeing Alpha 152 in that list but someone said she isnt going to be playable though.
