That would be just disturbing. Apparently there were complaints(?) about this set up and are working on finalizing the real look. Which is (???). I think this look is fine, although(as someone who likes Kasumi) is it a bit too much of her. I wouldn't mind a bunch of different characters :/

Seriously though having swimsuits but only for the female characters doesn't really help change perceptions around DOA. At least in VF everyone gets a beach bums costume!

I just think as a game cover that they can fix up something better than some close-up of Kasumi. It doesn't really show or tell how amazing DOA5 is. Can't even tell it's a fighting game really, especially with the racer-like title logo. >_>

I am so excited for this! I reserved my copy of it today at Gamestop. I think it's awesome we get a collectors edition finally! but I do wish the costumes weren't just swimsuits, I am not really excited about that

Thats up to you really. Ive always had good luck, even with big titles. I preordered Uncharted 3 and Gears 3 CE like a week before their release and got them. However, DOA5 won't have near as many CE copies to sell.

Online, they don't charge until it ships, if the funds are holding you back.

Oh I thought kasumi's ass bikini shot was the cover. It was the reason I switched from the regular edition pre order....lol

Oh well. Will still get it for the soundtrack.

The included bonuses are alright. Just pretty bummed about the lack of detication to the art. I'm all about simple and functional. But this looks like writing the word "art" in helvetica on a white box.

Will be preordering this asap, I really want the hardcover artbook and poster (costumes are a nice bonus!). Too bad they won't toss in those "I'm a fighter" necklaces too.

My only complaint is the box art, it would be nice if it were something more illustrative as to what kind of game DOA5 is as some other commenters have said.

The OP specifically states that "this packshot will be close to the final look of the collector's edition." In other words, it's still up in the air.

It says "Package Not Final."
