I get why they are doing the fan vote, its to see what people are interested in. and if they pick then people are gonna moan that a character is getting favd over another so in a sense this is a better way. BUUUUT its gonna go ass up cuz its public vote

its only gonna cause drama, and people are gonna start getting butt hurt cuz there design isn't getting voted on enough. Then you will have people starting drama cuz they will excuse people of vote hoarding, which will happen since its FB.

But at the end of the day it depends on what people really want. I've checked the twitter entries and each one is different. the most liked or favd entry I seen was for kasumi, another one was for Elliot. So it is what it is at the end of the day, I guarantee someone will ask people to vote for there stuff, you aint gonna stop that unless Team ninja decide to pick themselves or do mutiple picks for designs.

Personally I think they should do it the way they did the Male your move contest, dunno if that was vote based but apparently Mr.Wah
won it

That White Rabbit Eliot? I found that a really nice and cute idea too. Too bad, that I chose Eliot for my entry to the contest too. D: I had no idea, Eliot was so popular with so many nice designs. I'm sure, the Rabbit will win for Eliot. (Because most Eliot users probably want him to be cute rather than badass or something else). ^__^`

Does this mean they had an official stop in accepting entries now that they had announced that voting starts next week?

I really hope people can vote an entry per character.

They just answered someone's question, when voting will start, with: "the middle of next week." That doesn't mean, the contest is closed yet. Depending on your timezone you have until midnight today. That's what they said. :)

Isn't voting just liking a picture in their album? I think you can vote on as many designs as you want

Anyway I wouldn't worry about it. IIRC the costumes that make it into the game will be chosen by TN's own designers.

Maybe or it can be in a form of a public poll where you can click up a character and it shows all its entries for people to cast one vote on for that character alone.

I still wonder, if there will be a preselection of costumes you will be able to vote for, or if all (roughly) 300 entries will be voted for. @_@

The preselection it was at the moment of the acceptance, where TN refused the outfits against the rules. I don't find reasons because they should avoid the vote for some outfits, this would be a thing not fair neither nice.

If something, I think on the opposite that the high number of entries could get the effect to increase the number of the winners, and so of votes and eventually also outfits able to appear in the game ;D

"Make your move contest" started before the release of DoA5. TN asked to the fans to think to nice new moves for the characters and to submit them (thorugh any way, from pictures to videos). You can find some entries on You Tube.

Sorry I forgot to add it to my previous post: actually now there is also a new entry for Bayman too :D
